At The Rail Yard Training Co., we believe every child deserves the chance to step onto the field, develop their skills, and experience the lifelong benefits of sports—regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we created The Rail Yarder Program, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to opening doors for young athletes in our community.
The Rail Yarder Program provides:
Training Opportunities – Kids from families in need receive access to professional-level training, giving them the tools to grow as athletes and as individuals.
Recreational League Support – For families who may struggle with registration fees, we step in to help cover costs so that no child is left on the sidelines.
Scholarship Opportunities – Each spring, local high school graduates can apply for scholarships to further their education and continue pursuing their dreams.
Research shows that kids who participate in sports are more likely to succeed in school and less likely to get into trouble. Beyond athletic development, we focus on building discipline, teamwork, and confidence—qualities that carry over into every aspect of life.
The Rail Yarder Program is more than just a nonprofit. It’s a commitment to our community. It’s a promise to families that financial barriers will not stop their children from experiencing the lessons, friendships, and opportunities that come with being part of a team.
